Amazing world of JR…

I don’t know how many of you have heard of this guy, but there’s an artist named JR who goes around the world (usually not touristy places) and installs these huge photographs on walls. Sometimes, as in the photo below, the pictures hang on pieces of ruined buildings. In another project called Face 2 Face, he’s been posting pictures done in monumental format on either side of the Separation Wall and in several surrounding towns. There’s something wonderful and magical about this kind of work. I don’t use the term–EVER, but there is something truly subversive in a good way about this work. I wanted to share it.
